Instant Messaging


Communication via instant messaging gives you the ability to easily access whether a colleague is connected to the Internet and if so, exchange messages with them. These messages are real-time messages to another Internet user. Baylor College of Medicine promotes the use of instant messaging as a way for employees to communicate with one another in an expeditious fashion.


Get Started


All faculty, staff, students and alumni are provided access to instant messaging.


NOTE: Some BCM users who had been using Lync 2013 on their desktops or laptops, will now see the new Skype for Business user interface. You will still be able to use the same features that Lync offers including IM, presence, screen sharing etc.
