Volunteering at the Peanut Butter Factory

Content

The ANL set off to make some peanut butter at the Houston peanut butter factory. The peanut butter made here is donated to 300 organizations in Texas, including the Houston Food Bank, and is used to help families in need. Due to its nutritional value, its long shelf life and the ability to eat it straight out of the jar, peanut butter is the Houston Food Bank’s most requested item. Our lab members had a great time making this delicious spread, and knowing that it is for such a great cause made the time even sweeter!

Santa Maria Music & Arts Camp

Content

The ANL and Strathearn family organized a two-week Music & Arts Camp for the children of mothers staying at the Santa Maria Casa Bonita Hostel. Children were given the opportunity to set their imaginations free through singing, playing instruments, painting, playing dress up and putting on a show for the women at the hostel at the end of each week.
