We are currently producing:
- Helper-Dependent Adenoviral Vectors (HDAd, serotype 2, 5, 5/35-fiber, and custom targeted)
- Adeno-Associated Viral Vectors (AAV, serotype 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, PHP.eB, DJ and DJ8)
- VSVG-Pseudotyped Lentiviral Vectors (LV) with second and fourth-generation packaging systems, and 2nd and 3rd generation non-integrating LVs
- G-Deleted Rabies
- Subcloning and plasmid preparations for viral vector production
Viral vectors are packaged and purified by core-developed protocols (e.g., centrifugation by density gradient). The core has developed various expression cassettes and basic transfer vectors for expression of your genes, including shRNA. All core-developed vectors are deposited to Addgene, and are available at https://www.addgene.org/Kazuhiro_Oka/. The core provides consultations for which vector systems meet the needs of individual investigators and facilitates their research via viral packaging service.
