Specimen Type: FFPE - Slide(s)
Requirements: 5 unstained 5um FFPE slides (Min: 3 slides) containing adequate amounts of tumor to be analyzed. Please include a copy of corresponding surgical pathology report.
Shipping Conditions: Ship at ambient temperature (18-25°C/64-77°F). Also acceptable: Refrigerated. Protect paraffin tissue from excessive heat. Ship in cooled container during summer months.

Unacceptable Conditions: Less than 25 percent tumor. Specimens fixed/processed in alternative fixatives (alcohol, Prefer) or heavy metal fixatives. Decalcified specimens.

Stability: Ambient: Indefinitely; Refrigerated: Indefinitely; Frozen: Unacceptable

Requirements: Formalin fix (10 percent neutral buffered formalin) and paraffin embed tissue. Please include a copy of corresponding surgical pathology report. Tissue block will be returned after testing.
Shipping Conditions: Ship at ambient temperature (18-25°C/64-77°F). Also acceptable: Refrigerated. Protect paraffin tissue from excessive heat. Ship in cooled container during summer months.
