Test Requisition:	Tumor Analysis
Specimen Type:	Fresh Tumor Tissue
Requirements:	Transport 0.5-1 cm3 or more (10 mm for biopsy) tumor tissue in a sterile, screw-top container filled with tissue culture transport medium. If tissue culture transport medium is not available, collect in plain RPMI, Hanks solution, or saline.
Shipping Conditions:	Ship at ambient temperature (18-25°C/64-77°F) in an insulated container by overnight courier. Specimen should arrive in the laboratory within 48 hrs of collection. Do not heat or freeze. Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen or preserved in formalin.
