Requirements: Draw blood in an EDTA (purple-top) tube(s) and send 3-5 cc (Adults/Children) or 2-3 cc (Infants <2 yrs).
Shipping Conditions: Ship at room temperature in an insulated container by overnight courier. Do not heat or freeze.

Specimen Type: Fresh Tissue
Requirements: Transport 0.5-1 cm3 or more (10 mm for biopsy) tissue in a sterile, screw-top container filled with tissue culture transport medium. If tissue culture transport medium is not available, collect in plain RPMI, Hanks solution, or saline.
Shipping Conditions: Ship at ambient temperature (18-25C/64-77F) in an insulated container by overnight courier. Specimen should arrive in the laboratory within 48 hrs of collection. Do not heat or freeze.

Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen or preserved in formalin.
