Self-focused Attention in Individuals with Anxiety
Are you between the age of 18 and 64? Do you experience significant and/or impairing anxiety?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study that looks at attention and mental processes in individuals with anxiety. As a result of this study, we hope to gain a better understanding of the population and the overall impact of anxiety.
There are two parts to this study. You may be eligible to participate in one or both parts of the study. Participation in the first part of the study would include answering questions about your mental health, as well as related questions about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in day-to-day life. If eligible, participation in the second part of the study would include completing tasks on a computer, as well as answering additional questions about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Participants will be compensated $30 for completing part one and $50 for completing part two of the study.
This study is being conducted by Dr. Eric Storch in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. For more information, please contact the study coordinator, Megan Rech, at firstname.lastname@example.org
