A Randomized, Double-Blind, Efficacy and Safety Study of AR 14 (AZILSARTAN MEDOXOMIL) Treatment and Withdrawal, Followed by an Open-Label Extension, in Children 6 to Less Than 18 Years of Age With Hypertension

The Cheers Study is an international study looking at how safe and effective an investigational medicine (a potential new medicine) is for high blood pressure in children.

If your child is 6 to 17 years of age, has been diagnosed with high blood pressure, and weighs at least 25 kg, he/she may be eligible for our research study.

The Cheers Study will last for about 54 weeks and during this time your child will be asked to visit the study center up to 17 times.

At the study visits, various tests and checks will be carried out, so that the study doctor can monitor your child's health.
