    CORE B-1
    A. Routine histology - processing/embedding, grossing/submitting, H&E, Microtomy, Special stains
    (simple and complex), Frozen block preparation (freezing tissue in OCT), Cut unstained section from frozen block
    B. Immunohistochemistry; IHC staining, Antibody Titration, Tunel staining
    C. Enzyme histochemistry
    D. Immunofluorescence (frozen sections or cells)
    E. Electron microscopy - complete processing, scanning; sample prep (critical point drying), use of scope
    (assisted/unassisted), and immuno-electron microscopy
    F. Laser Capture Microscopy (LCM) consultation, training and supervision for investigator use
    G. Serum chemistries - Liver battery (albumin, aspartate aminotransferases, alanine aminotransferases
    alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, total bilirubin, conjugated bilirubin)

    H. Transmission Electron microscopy, sample preparation, processing and instrument use
    I. Image Analysis Workstation
    J. Upright Brightfield and Epifluorescence Inverted Microscopes

    M. High Throughput Microscope (live or fixed cells)
    N. Consultation and technical advice to researchers interested in developing sophisticated procedures for their GI-related projects (assay development and microscopy). Technical Assistance/Training (instrument use, immunofluorescence and RNA in situ hybridization)
