A. PA chest radiograph demonstrating a prosthetic aortic valve ring. This patient had mixed aortic valve disease (severe aortic regurgitation and stenosis) secondary to rheumatic fever requiring valve replacememt. There was a significant reduction in left ventricular dimension following placement of a competent valve.
