Professional Statement

Dr. Chelu’s research interests include: 1. molecular mechanisms and genetics of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiomyopathies; 2. developing magnetic resonance imaging protocols to image left atrial scar and characterize biophysics of ablation; and 3. integration of sensors and mobile platforms to monitor, identify disease signatures, and determine impact on quality of life. 4. cybersecurity of cardiac electrophysiology devices.
