Professional Statement

Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in direct clinical care with families of children with developmental disabilities and special health care needs. Particular areas of interest include working with parents and caregivers on positive behavior management strategies as well as developing interventions to address caregiver stress and enhance self-efficacy. In addition to my clinical practice, I have a passion for teaching medical learners at all levels about family-centered care, community resources and services, and effective advocacy strategies at the local, state and national levels.
