New information is being learned about how our genes impact our weight. These new findings and approaches to creating a health-promoting environment will be the focus of discussion in a public seminar April 8 at the Children’s Museum of Houston.
The seminar is part of the monthly Evenings with Genetics series sponsored by the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Molecular and Human Genetics and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Speakers include Dr. Chester Brown, associate professor of molecular and human genetics at Baylor, and Dr. Ann Smith Barnes, associate professor of medicine at Baylor.
