Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting volunteers for a new pilot study to determine the effects of smoking either electronic cigarettes or tobacco on the bacteria found within the human body and how this influences a person’s overall health and well-being.

Researchers are recruiting e-cigarette and cigarette smokers between the ages of 18 and 55 years.

Participants will:

  • Visit Baylor once
  • Provide a fecal and oral sample
  • Participate in cognitive behavioral therapy

Volunteers will be compensated for their time.
