BCM faculty and staff who have published non-medical fiction and nonfiction were honored at the first ever Authors' Reception April 6.

Book sale puts money back in Employee Relief Fund

Alkek Lobby was lined with books ranging from general fiction, cookbooks, self-help, children's literature, to mysteries and more at the first BCM book sale, which raised money for the Employee Relief Fund.

BCM, UHCL partners in the future of patient care

Earlier this year, University of Houston Clear Lake medical administration students completed the first Administrative Internship in Medicine program with the department of medicine at BCM and the Harris County Hospital District.

BCM psychology section growing

The psychology section in the department of pediatrics at BCM, established in early 2009, covers a wide range of services through Texas Children's Hospital. The section, previously the Learning Support Center, has experts who work with various areas of pediatrics to offer behavioral health care to patients and their families.

Avon Walk helps support BCM's collaboration with Ben Taub breast care program

A grant to Baylor College of Medicine physicians from the Avon Foundation for Women will support medical care and patient resources at the breast care program at the Harris County Hospital District's Ben Taub General Hospital.
