How long have you been at BCM?
Since June 2003. I also am a violinist in the Houston Ballet Orchestra and have been a member of that group since 1984.
What's your favorite thing about working at BCM?
The incredible people of BCM
Where were you born?
Ponca City, Oklahoma
What is your favorite kind of food?
Asian is often my favorite type of food but I also love Indian cuisine and all well prepared fare. I am a devoted foodie!
What is your favorite restaurant in Houston, and at that restaurant your favorite dish?
Les Givral's Kahve for the incredible Vietnamese sandwiches
What type of music do you listen to?
Classical and metal…they go together better than one would think
What is your dream vacation?
A month in France with my hubby Robert
What is your favorite TV show?
"The Big Bang Theory"

What are some of your personal hobbies?
Pilates, running, meditation, composing music with my husband

"Peace is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life" by Thich Nhat Hanh, Arnold Kotler, and the Dalai Lama

"Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"
I can't narrow it down to one but highlights for me are Ravi Shankar, The Rolling Stones, Cream and Bach (especially St. Matthews Passion)
Three wonderful felines: Teddy, Simba and Mr. Stumpy (he came to us pre-named and we didn't have the heart to confuse him by calling him something more appropriate like Alexander or Balthassar)
Favorite food at BCM's Luby's?
I have two and they could not be more different: One is a guilty pleasure – the breakfast taco – and the other always leaves me feeling awesome – almost anything from the juice bar.
