Patient Services group supports Easter Seals

The staff of BCM's Patient Business Services kicked off spring with "Make Someone's Spring a Little Brighter," an event to support Easter Seals of Greater Houston.

Staff members, who were given more than 150 baskets from Easter Seals, decorated and filled them with items for children, such as toys, stuffed animals, treats and books.

The baskets were delivered to the Easter Seals Houston center April 5, an experience that Brenda Goss, coordinator with the department, described as rewarding for the staff involved.

In addition, many of the baskets were entered into a competition where they were judged by members of the local community.

Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and other special needs. For more than 65 years, Easter Seals of Greater Houston has been offering help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities and to the families who love them.

Through therapy, training, education and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work and play.
