How long have you been at BCM?
It's almost my three-year anniversary here at BCM!
What’s your favorite thing about working at BCM?
The camaraderie and family atmosphere among employees. Another favorite thing is the great research that I am able to be a part of in my department.

West Monroe, Louisiana
What is your favorite kind of food?
Pizza and any type of fruit
What is your favorite restaurant in Houston, and at that restaurant your favorite dish?
Fish City Grill in Sugar Land Town Square – the fried catfish fillets and waffle fries are a must-have dish!
What type of music do you listen to?
I love EVERYTHING, but my favorite type of music is rhythm & blues music from the 1970s-1990s such as Gladys Knight & the Pips, The O’Jays and Sade! Music just isn’t created like that anymore.

Listening to music, shopping, watching television/movies, reading magazines, and being with family

"A Raisin in the Sun" by playwright Lorraine Hansberry – I first read it in college and can read it over and over again.

No. I had a dog as a child and have never been able to replace him.
Favorite food at BCM’s Luby's?
Definitely the rolls
Favorite BCM/Medical Center hangout?
My office. It’s the one place I can go to quietly get work done and escape everything else happening on the other side of my office door. Besides, I have a great view from my office window.
