His heart was still on the streets of Cairo, from where he had recently returned, when Dr. Nabil Ahmed, assistant professor of pediatrics – hematology/oncology, heard the news that Hosni Mubarak had stepped down as president of Egypt.

Center for Space Medicine lecture series set

A lecture series presented by BCM’s Center for Space Medicine will give insight into the health risks associated with human space flight. Even though the series is part of a BCM academic course, the lectures are open to the entire Baylor community.

Project aims to bridge gap between elementary, middle school

When was the last time you went to the doctor when you weren’t sick? Maintaining heart and overall health is more than just treating illness, preventative care is also important. Make an appointment for a checkup and talk to your doctor about your family health history, what you can do now to prevent future ailments and when to start yearly screenings such as lipid and cholesterol tests, mammograms or colonoscopies.
