How long have you been at BCM?
Just over 8 years.
Where were you born?
Womack Army Hospital at Fort Bragg, NC – the fourth of 11 kids to a career U.S. Army soldier and his West Virginia country bride.
What is your favorite kind of food?
I love all kinds of food, especially everything that my doctor says is bad for me, but if I had to choose, I would have to say original Tex-Mex.
What is your favorite restaurant in Houston, and at that restaurant your favorite dish?
The Texas Roadhouse, and it's a toss up between the Smokehouse Burger and the mouth-watering gut-busting 18 oz. Texas T-Bone.
What type of music do you listen to?
I am an avid country and western fan – not so much the new country though.
Complete this sentence: Most people wouldn't know that I…:
Absolutely detest spiders.
What are some of your personal hobbies?
One of my biggest hobbies is genealogy research. I have traced different branches of my family with some of the direct lineage going back well over 600 years.
Last movie you saw?
"Cop Out" with Bruce Willis.
Three very spoiled dogs and two cats with definite attitude.
Favorite BCM/Medical Center hangout?
I actually do not get out much due to the nature of my job but I can tell you that through the doors of the CNRC come the most interesting, fascinating and nicest people in the world. I truly have fun at my job and consider it the best place in the Medical Center to be.
I am a devoted football and baseball fan and, win or lose, I am a die-hard Astros and Texans devotee.
Red, white and blue. I spent over 20 years in the U.S. Army loving every second of it and am a furiously avid patriot.
