Volunteers needed for weight management study
Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine are recruiting volunteers for a combination drug therapy and weight management study.
Researchers are looking for women 50 years and older and men 45 years and older who are currently suffering from obesity and have been diagnosed with heart disease or diabetes that is stable. Volunteers must be available for study-related clinic visits for approximately one year, plus follow-up for two to four years.
Eligible volunteers will receive medical evaluations, including blood tests and electrocardiograms, investigational medication treatment and visits to the clinic at no charge.
