Huffington Health Forum addresses important aging topics

The Huffington Center on Aging at Baylor College of Medicine will host the Huffington Health Forum Wednesday, April 4, beginning at 10 a.m. at the River Oaks Country Club, 1600 River Oaks Blvd.

Dr. Robert Roush, associate professor of medicine – geriatrics at BCM, will give a talk entitled "Smart Homes: Safer Living through Cutting-Edge Technology." Roush will also be honored at the forum in recognition for his lifelong contributions to education.

Dr. George Taffet, professor of medicine – geriatrics at BCM, will give a talk entitled "My WHAT is Aging? Hearing, Heart and Muscle."

The keynote address will be given by motivational speaker Mary Sue Koontz Nelson. Her talk is entitled "Laughter is the Best Medicine."
