Dr. Joseph Jankovic, professor of neurology, Distinguished Chair in Movement Disorders and director of the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic, was selected by the International Neurotoxin Association to receive its Lifetime Achievement Award.
He will present a keynote lecture on "Botulinum Toxin: Past, Present and Future" during the next INA congress, TOXINS 2019, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Jan. 16. He is being recognized for his contributions to the development of botulinum toxin, including BOTOX, which now has wide therapeutic and cosmetic indications.
