Baylor's Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Center, African Americans Against Alzheimer's and GD Productions are teaming up to bring Garrett Davis' national award-winning stage play, "Forget Me Not," to Houston.

The play focuses on an African American family struggling to accept and manage their father's illness after ignoring warning signs for the disease. It is meant to not only bring to light the difficult decisions families must make, but also to educate the viewers on the disease.

"Forget Me Not" comes to the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts for a one-time performance, Saturday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. as part of a national tour. Tickets are free of charge but pre-registration is required.
