Joyce Oberdorf, Rich Clifford, and Dr. Joseph Jankovic

The Parkinson Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic hosted a visit by world leaders in Parkinson's disease research and other dignitaries as part of the annual meeting of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF), co-chaired by Dr. Joseph Jankovic, director of Baylor College of Medicine's NPF Center of Excellence.

The three-day meeting was held at the J.W. Marriott. At the close of the meeting Dr. Jankovic invited Rich Clifford, a NASA astronaut, to speak for the first time about his experience with Parkinson's disease while flying a space mission.
