2013 Annual Report — Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic Oct. 1, 2013
Each year I look forward to preparing this brief report of our clinical, research and educational activities because it gives me an opportunity to highlight some of the accomplishments of the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine during the past year and to express my gratitude to my patients, friends and colleagues for their continued support.
2012 Annual Report — Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic Oct. 1, 2012
It is my pleasure to briefly summarize the activities of the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic (PDCMDC) over the past year. When I founded the PDCMDC over 35 years ago I could only dream about the international acclaim that it now receives for its accomplishments in clinical care, research and education.

The primary goal of this annual report is to provide a brief overview of the various activities at the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic (PDCMDC). Consistent with our mission, the PDCMDC has continued to be engaged in a large number of clinical, research, educational and other academic activities.

I'm an advocate for Parkinson's disease research, in part because I have been living with the disease for close to 20 years - but also because the foundation I started in 2000 is convinced that we're closer than ever to developing Parkinson's treatments that far exceed what's available to patients today.
