Parent-Led Cognitive Behavioral Teletherapy For Anxiety in Youth with ASD (H-45203)



Is your child between the ages of 7 and 13? Has your child received a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)? Is your child highly anxious? Baylor College of Medicine is conducting research looking at the effectiveness of two types of parent-led cognitive behavioral teletherapy interventions for treating anxiety in youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Eligible participants will receive therapy at no cost with sessions delivered via video conferencing to your home. You/your child would have to attend a total of three assessment sessions:

1) pre-treatment
2) post-treatment
3) three-month follow-up.

You will be compensated $40 for each completed assessment session (a total of $120)
