Parent-Led CBT for Youth with Autism and Co-Occurring Anxiety (H-44081)

We are conducting a research study that looks at cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) specifically designed to fit the needs of children and teens with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and comorbid anxiety. CBT focuses on learning how to gradually face fear, teaching parent and child coping skills for dealing with different problems. Our goal is to provide children and parents with the necessary tools to appropriately cope with stressful and anxiety provoking situations.

  • Children ages 4-14
  • Autism diagnosis
  • Experiencing anxiety symptoms

Therapy in this study is NOT meant to address problem behavior.
