The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 50-70 million U.S. adults have sleep or wakefulness disorders. These conditions manifest as snoring and gasping, restless sleep, difficulty falling or staying asleep, daytime sleepiness and performance difficulties. In addition, they may be associated with or causing health problems and require expert medical care to correct.
The BCM Sleep Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and one of the leading diagnosis and treatment centers, with a team of experienced, board-certified doctors. As part of the Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, the center is one of the most comprehensive facilities in the Southwest offering diagnosis and treatments for the full range of sleep disorders: insomnia, snoring, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, parasomnias and more.

We take a multidisciplinary approach to sleep disorders creating enduring solutions to sleep disorders including long-term compliance with sleep apnea treatment and non-medicinal, cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia.
In addition, we work in close collaboration and offer patients direct access to Baylor's world-renowned experts in fields such as otolaryngology (ENT), bariatric surgery, cardiology, neurology and oromaxillofacial surgery.
The BCM Sleep Center is closely involved with the community through seminars and screening programs especially for those in high-risk occupations and serves as Houston’s only A.W.A.K.E. support group site.
