Cypress Health Center

Cypress Health Center is one of Baylor College of Medicine’s newest community clinics, located on Jones Road near FM 1960. Cypress physicians provide high quality healthcare to meet the medical needs of families living in northwest Harris County. In 2013, the clinic expanded services to include family practice, and today provides comprehensive pediatric and adult health care. Annual physicals, sport participation exams, asthma care, obesity management, chronic disease management, and newborn wellness visits are all done at Cypress Health Center.  In addition, the clinic offers pediatric psychiatric care and behavioral therapy counseling. Over 15,000 primary care patient visits were completed in 2015 alone.

Other services available on-site include: nutrition, patient education, clinical pharmacy, and social work. Specialty procedure clinics have been implemented to meet the needs of our clients, allowing steroid joint injections, IUD placement and removal, and well woman exams to be performed in office. An integrated diabetes clinic has recently been established to assist and empower patients in management of their chronic illness.

Our physicians are faculty members of the Baylor Department of Family and Community Medicine. They provide an opportunity for medical students and residents to work with them during their family medicine clerkships and pediatric ambulatory rotations. The diversity of our providers mirrors that of the community served. Bilingual staff and translation phone services are available.
