Cons: Moderately expensive (full face treatment $500/session with the fifth session free). Minimal wrinkle improvement. Numbing cream needs to be applied 45-90 minutes pre-treatment.

Pros: Improvement in most wrinkles, skin texture, redness and brown spots. Minimal downtime (swelling for 1-2 days, redness for 2-4 days, flaky tan for 4-7 days). 30 -45 minute treatment with topical numbing cream. Can be used in nearly all patients.
Cons: Expensive (full face $1000/session with 3-6 sessions required). Not a replacement for a facelift.

Pros: Best combination of improvement in wrinkles and side effect profile. Also helps brown spots and precancerous lesions.
Cons: Expensive (full face $1250-3500 per session with 1-3 sessions required). Moderate downtime.

Sciton Contour: The most aggressive laser treatment for wrinkles.
Pros: Very effective with only 1 treatment typically needed.
Cons: Expensive. Extensive downtime of 1-2 weeks. Somewhat greater risk of infection or scar.
