About the VA Dermatology Clinic

The VA Dermatology Clinic is located in the state-of-the-art Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center near the Texas Medical Center. Run by the faculty and residents of Baylor Dermatology, advanced dermatologic care is provided to our valued veterans. Occasionally, a private patient of Baylor Dermatology may take advantage of the resources at the VA Medical Center.

Grand Rounds - A weekly conference on Thursday mornings attended by dermatologists from Baylor, the University of Texas and private practice. Invited patients are evaluated from 8 to 9 a.m. in the dermatology clinic. Their cases are discussed by the group from 9 to 10 a.m. and recommendations given. Patients are seen only with referral from a dermatologist. 


The VA is located at the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and Almeda near the Texas Medical Center. Entrances are located on Holcombe Boulevard, Almeda and Old Spanish Trail. Parking is free, but may require a short walk. Complementary valet parking is available. The dermatology clinic is located on the first floor a short distance from the main entrance (follow the corridor to the left).
