Each year, Baylor College of Medicine, our programs, and our research initiatives are the beneficiaries of fundraising activities by generous individuals and organizations. Thank you for your interest in raising funds and bringing greater awareness to the College’s mission.
We have developed guidelines to help you plan and implement your fundraising project. An example of a fundraising project is a business advertising that a percentage of sales during a specific time period will benefit the College. The Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations will review your proposal and then follow up with you, keeping these criteria in mind:
- The fundraising project contributes to one of Baylor’s current priorities.
- The fundraising project does not conflict with other projects and events on the College’s calendar.
- The fundraising project clearly states the potential demands for College resources.
To initiate the process, please review and sign the Project Guidelines. Then, fill in the Project Proposal Form. Your completed forms should be submitted to the address in the box. Please allow 60 days prior to the distribution of your invitations and public announcements for approval of your project.
Fundraising event examples include golf tournaments or fashion shows that raise money to benefit the College. The Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations will consider your event based on other institutional priorities and events, as well as on the availability of College resources and staff.
Please start the process by reviewing and signing the Event Guidelines. Then complete the Event Proposal Form and the Budget Planning Tool. Your completed forms may be submitted to the address in the box. Please allow five weeks prior to the distribution of your invitations and public announcements for approval of your event.
A signed copy of the agreement will be sent to you immediately upon approval of your project or event. All recurring fundraising initiatives must be submitted for approval on an annual basis.
