Our breast center volunteers have fun while working toward a cure. All of our fundraising and proceeds from events go to support the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine, one of Houston’s best resources of treatment of breast cancer and breast disease. Recognized as one of the top breast centers in the world, the center combines everything needed for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in one convenient setting.
Patient care is highly specialized for the best possible outcomes, highly personal for the best patient experience and driven by the latest findings from the College’s renowned breast cancer research programs.
It is a cornerstone of the Dan L Duncan Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine, which brings together research, patient care, education and outreach activities from the College and its affiliated hospitals to advance the fight against this devastating disease. The Duncan Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, a significant milestone that opens the doors for additional funding to fight cancer. It is one of two such NCI-designated centers in Houston.
