Space Medicine Interest Group

The Space Medicine Interest Group (SMIG) at Baylor College of Medicine was created to facilitate student interest in aerospace medicine. SMIG serves as a source for aerospace medicine discussion, research and mentorship. We host guest lecturers from BCM's Center for Space Medicine and NASA's Johnson Space Center, home of human spaceflight operations. We also collaborate with McGovern Medical School's interest group and the Aerospace Medical Association's AMSRO student/resident group.
