BOSS is a student organization at Baylor College of Medicine to support students with an interest Orthopedic Surgery. The group aims to provide information about the field, offer basic clinical skills training, and serve as a liaison between students and faculty with regards to both clinical and academic opportunities. BOSS meetings include faculty lectures amongst the various subspecialties in orthopedics, joint injection and physical exam workshops, mixers with upperclassmen going into orthopedics, interaction with statewide and national Orthopedic organizations, and collaborative initiatives for women entering the field.
