Tutoring and Academic Support

Free tutoring and academic support are provided to students and are designed to support students’ mastery of specific program knowledge and skills. Baylor’s faculty members are very accessible to students and are dedicated to helping students succeed academically. Students who experience difficulty in a course are encouraged to seek help from the course faculty as well as from the tutoring service and the Academic Success Center.

The Office of Student Affairs not only coordinates the tutoring service but also provides a variety of commercial study aids to help students succeed in the Foundational and Clinical Sciences as well as on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) licensure examinations (USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge).
