PA Program Student Host Program

Congratulations on your invitation to interview for a position in the 2020 entering class of the Physician Assistant Program.

If you are flying in for the interview, please arrive at Hobby Airport. It is much closer to the Texas Medical Center than is the George Bush International Airport. This is most important if you have a tight flight schedule.

The Student Host Program provides an opportunity for you to meet with current students during the informal gathering before interviews, answer questions during a walking tour of Baylor College of Medicine, and stay with a PA student during your time here on campus. It is an excellent time to really get to know some students, to get a feel for student life at Baylor, and cut down your travel costs.

The student hosts are volunteering free housing for out-of-town interviewees for Wednesday, Thursday, and evening depending on the group in which you are interviewing – Wednesday housing for Group A and Thursday housing for Group B.

Because of our busy schedules, we can only provide a limited number of accommodations. This means we will not be able to guarantee that all interested applicants will receive free housing. In case you cannot match with a host, you will need to make alternative housing arrangements (i.e., hotel reservations) for your entire stay. Preference will be made on a first-come-first-serve basis though we will make every effort to match all interested applicants.
