Advisors (Mentor Pairs)
Students will have a primary and secondary advisor: a basic scientist and a clinical scientist, either of which can be the primary advisor. Students will select advisors from a provided list of mentor pairs or may initiate the formation of new mentor pairs from a provided list of faculty advisors.
During the first year, mentors present their research to the students during an informal meeting. At the end of the first year, the program's executive steering committee will meet with students to help them select a primary and secondary mentor.
