About the Program

Students are provided with a firm foundation in the basic and clinical sciences to instill a complimentary thinking modality in order to translate benchtop discoveries to bedside patient care.

The Translational Biology & Molecular Medicine graduate program is targeted towards research in human health problems and diseases and is closely aligned with centers and other areas of translational research strength at Baylor College of Medicine. The first-year courses are designed to provide the background to follow any of the paths specified below. In the second year, the clinical rotation and electives are specifically targeted to the health and disease entities listed below.
