AGSD Career Development Dinner Series

Media Component
AGSD Career Development Dinner
Content

Every month, AGSD offers a Career Development dinner to graduate students and post-docs who are seeking to learn about science careers. At each dinner, there are two to three scientists who span different career interests (academia, administrative, industry, consulting, medical liaisons, research scientist, government, science policy, etc.). Students and post-docs are given a free meal at Baylor College of Medicine or taken to a local multicultural restaurant and are encouraged to listen to the scientist’s presentations and then ask questions. After the dinner, there is a 30 minute network lunching over coffee and dessert.
