In order for a user to successfully access a system or application with MFA enabled, they must provide “something they know” and “something they have”. At BCM, the “something you know” will be your ECA username and password” and the “something you have” will be a random six digit number known as a BCM MFA Token which will be regenerated every 30 seconds on your personal mobile device.

Microsoft Intune Company Portal
Mobile device management (MDM) is a technology that protects Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) email, data, and applications on mobile devices. BCM provides employees and students with the ability to connect to Baylor resources from smartphones, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices. Baylor recognizes the business value of accessing BCM resources when on-the-go, but such access also increases the risk of security breaches. MDM allows the College to minimize the risks by securely managing and protecting BCM email and data on mobile devices.
