The Wellness Intervention Team (WIT) is a multidisciplinary group of medical, academic and administrative professionals. The purpose of the WIT is to manage a confidential process of identification and intervention for students who require a higher level of institutional support to manage their wellness concern(s).

The WIT connects students to wellness resources, disability services, and programming designed to optimize student success as they pursue their educational goals. The WIT also plays an essential role in managing the leave of absence and return from leave of absence process for students experiencing a wellness concern.

The Wellness Intervention Team was established to provide students with the greatest chance for academic and professional success while preserving the highest level of health and safety protection for students and the broader Baylor community.
