The Advances in Critical Care Conference provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues, network and collaborate with critical care experts, and explore cutting-edge tools, technologies and processes.

Bringing together all members of the multidisciplinary team caring for the critically ill patient, this joint medical and surgical critical care two-day event will feature internationally renowned faculty and content sessions highlighting evidence-based developments in critical care. The panel sessions will feature discussions on sepsis, ARDS, trauma, ECMO, shock, acute kidney injury and highlighted by a lunchtime keynote address on the clinical conundrum of analgesia, sedation, and delirium management to promote ICU Liberation.

This course provides the opportunity to discuss treatment challenges to update one’s practice as well as breakout sessions to promote facility with technologies routinely utilized to manage patients. Finally, guidelines, algorithms, and other organizational features necessary to running a highly effective ICU will be shared. Participants will have the opportunity to talk directly to expert faculty sharing their experiences in avoiding pitfalls, recognizing clinical pearls, and enhancing staff well-being
