Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
Pedro J. Diaz-Marchan, M.D.
Welcome to the Baylor College of Medicine Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Our program underwent an ACGME site visit in December 2007 and received continued full accreditation with commendation and no citations and the maximum five-year cycle before the next site visit. In 2006, our program received approval from the ACGME to increase our resident complement from 40 to 44 residents and in 2009 received approval to increase from 44 to 48. The increase to 48 residents allows our residents more opportunities to rotate at our affiliated hospitals as well as decrease the amount of night call per resident.
Our program will offer 12 advanced Diagnostic Radiology positions for 2014. (Advanced positions are those that begin in the PGY2 year after a year of prerequisite training). Applicants may apply for a position via ERAS.
Interviews will be held:
- Nov. 5, 2012
- Nov. 7, 2012
- Dec. 3, 2012
- Dec. 5, 2012
- Dec. 7, 2012
- Jan. 14, 2013
Our program will fully train and qualify the candidate for examination and certification by the American Board of Radiology. Graduates of the BCM Diagnostic Radiology Program have consistently excelled in the ABR certification examination.
