Pedro Diaz-Marchan

Pedro J. Diaz-Marchan, M.D.
Associate Chair for Education

Highest quality education is the prime objective of the Department of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Our department offers residency programs in:

Each of these programs require one year of clinical training prior to the beginning of the residency. In addition, the department offers fellowship training in the following subspecialties:

Our programs are distinctive in many ways. Based in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center, our residents and fellows are exposed to unparalleled clinical pathology and work with a large group of outstanding radiologists, all in the setting of a diverse group of teaching hospitals, both public and private.

Our programs provide "hands-on" learning experience. Residents and fellows are given a high degree of autonomy in their daily work and are provided state-of-the art equipment with which to carry it out. These and many other excellent qualities are the reasons why our programs are considered among the top in the nation. Residents and fellows are provided with the clinical and academic environment that allows them to join highly ranked fellowships and later pursue careers in academic radiology and/or private practice.

We are a vibrant, energetic, and progressive department always looking for ways to improve in today's continuously evolving medical environment.
