Some forms of insurance are accepted for many of our services. A copy of your insurance card is required at the first visit. Those with out of network benefits are required to pay for the visit and file a claim. In some instances an income based sliding scale fee is available. Co-payments and un-reimbursable balances are due at each visit and payable by check, cash or credit card.
A psychological/psychiatric evaluation may require between one and three visits. The evaluation process includes an initial telephone interview, a psychiatric interview and, as needed, psychological testing.
The Baylor Psychiatric Clinic encompasses a general clinic and subspecialty clinics which address specific problems or disorders. When you first call we will determine which of our subspecialty clinics will best meet your needs.
Clinic hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Our phone number is 713-798-4857.
