Sports Medicine Clinic
The professionals in sports medicine at Texas Children's Hospital take into account the whole patient, physically, emotionally and psychologically. Our program is unique in that we offer an incredible number of board-certified physicians, psychologists, counselors, dieticians and nurse practitioners. These professionals all work together as a cohesive team to provide patients the most comprehensive care available.
We offer a sports medicine program for athletes that may include physical therapy and sports nutrition counseling services, in addition to medical treatment. Patients arrive with everything from acute injuries to chronic overuse injuries. We provide detailed evaluations and treatment plans for complicated complaints and effective treatment for more common ailments.
