Patient Care

Clinical care, available at Texas Children's Hospital Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Service, is led by nationally and internationally recognized faculty from Baylor College of Medicine.

Clinical Programs

Diet and Nutrition

Sarah Phillips, RD, instructor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and manager of the Nutrition Support Service at Texas Children's, heads an 11-member team dedicated to providing state-of-the-art nutrition care. Clinical activities include total parenteral nutrition care for the hospital and dietary consultation in the Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Service outpatient clinic.

Kamp K'anna

Kamp K'anna is a two-week, residential, fun-based weight management camp supported by Texas Children's and Baylor, helps obese kids, ages 10-14, make lifestyle changes.
