Education and Community Outreach

Activities:

  • Pediatrics 101: Applying Evidence Based Medicine through Evidence Based Guidelines. Pediatric residents are educated in utilizing evidence based guidelines.
  • Maintenance of Certification:The American Board of Pediatrics requires level 4 quality improvement training and project involvement for recertification starting in 2010. CCE faculty develop projects to aid subspecialties in the acquisition of this certification component while making useful contributions to the quality of care within the Texas Children's Hospital Integrated Delivery System.   • The CCE offers a rotation for Fellows and Residents for those interested in work in quality improvement.
